About the Friends of Our Lady of Lourdes

The Friends of Our Lady of Lourdes is the new name for the school Parent Teacher Association and has recently become a registered UK charity.

Charity Trustees

The charity trustees are the people who are legally responsible for the overall management and decision making in a charity. We are expected to act only in the best interests of the charity and to take decisions jointly with other trustees.
The board of trustees are :-

  • Mrs E Pryor (Head Teacher)
  • Mrs N Nunan
  • Mrs A Latham
  • Mrs C Williams

Commitee Representatives

We have a committee board made up of staff, parents and friends of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School, each bringing their own enthusiasm and expertise to the group.
Some of the board representatives are :-

  • Naomi Nunan
  • Julie Williams
  • Richard Difford-Smith
  • Caroline Shinn (100 Club)

If you wish to contact the Friends to offer help with organisation, have an idea for a fund raising event, wish to make a donation or just want to know more about what we do, you can email friends@OurLadyOfLourdesSchool.co.uk or speak to one of the Committee Representatives directly.

Fund Raising

The Friends try to organise at least one major event per school term with smaller events scattered throughout the year. These have the dual benefit of raising money and bringing the school communitee closer together. Details of forthcoming events can be found on the Events page. We always require help and support for these events and greatly appreciate all those who contribute their time and effort. If you would like to contribute but are unable to because of work or family constraints you could help by becoming a member of the 100 Club. Alternatively you could contact the Friends directly and arrange for a donation (see Charity Status for details).
