Our Lady of Lourdes School was opened in 1969 to cater for children in the Rottingdean area who would otherwise have had to travel to Brighton to attend a Catholic school. At present it has just over two hundred mainly Catholic children aged between four and eleven years of age who come from Rottingdean, Woodingdean, Ovingdean, Saltdean, Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven. The School is located opposite the Green in Rottingdean, Brighton.
Our purpose is to live, love and learn as a school
community, in partnership with home, parishes and the wider world.
We place our faith in God, and the Gospel Values of His Son Jesus Christ, at the centre of all we do.
We come together as witnesses to His example; to serve, to challenge and to encourage growth into all that we are created to be.
Each individual shares in the role of teacher and learner. We rejoice in, and celebrate all our achievements and uniqueness, as a family.
